Key features of 2N Integration

  • Fast & accurate face identification
  • Improved visitor experience
  • Safer & secured apartment building/workplace
  • Spoof prevention (liveness detection)
  • Smart camera support
  • GDPR compliance
  • Multifactor verification
  • Auto-learn function

Supported hardware and software

  • Any 2N device that provides a standard RTSP stream from its video camera can be integrated into the SmartFace Platform.
  • Integration was tested on 2N IP One intercom.

Required software

  • For a successful deployment, the SmartFace Platform software must be installed on a Linux-based server. The required server performance depends on the number of devices for which face identification needs to be performed.

Licenses required

  • The SmartFace system includes a licensing model that can be either perpetual or annual, depending on the agreed payment terms.

Instructions

The SmartFace Platform is designed for real-time identification of faces moving in front of the camera on a 2N device.

To successfully configure the integration, the following steps are required:

  1. Register Individuals: Each person must be registered in the SmartFace Platform with a photo and with an internal ID associated with the user in the 2N system.
  2. Connect RTSP Streams: The RTSP stream from each 2N device intended to identify faces must be configured  in the SmartFace Platform.
  3. Configure Device IPs: Each 2N device's IP address must be set within the SmartFace Platform to ensure proper addressing for door control.

Process of Door Opening:

  1. A person approaches a 2N device.
  2. The SmartFace Platform continuously attempts to identify the individual.
  3. Upon successful identification, the SmartFace Platform sends a message to the specific 2N device, requesting the door to open for the identified individual
  4. If the person has the necessary access rights, the 2N system handles the opening of the corresponding doors.
