8.1 Troubleshooting

ProblemSolution
No LED indicator is in on 2N® EasyGate IP.
  • Check whether the switch is in turning-on position 0/I.
  • Check the power supply and battery status.

All of the LED indicators are on on 2N® EasyGate IP, there is no active call on the line

(data LED is on as set in SIP settings).

  • Turn off and on again, the LEDs should go off in 3 s and indicate the current device state.
2N® EasyGate IP does not log in.
  • Check the SIM card insertion.
  • Check the inserted SIM card for PIN request.
  • Check the antenna connection.
  • Make sure that the installation site has a good network signal.
No tone can be heard after off-hook.
  • Check the telephone line connection.
  • The device may not be initialized after the start (approx. 20 s after power up).
  • Check the power and wireless failure settings in the Service / Signaling folder.
2N® EasyGate IP does not communicate with the PC via USB.
  • Check whether the switch is in turning-on position 0/I.
  • Check the power supply and battery status.
  • Unlock USB using the RESET button if the 2N® EasyGate IP setting allows so. If not, reset the factory default values.
  • Use 2N® Elevator Center for login to the device.
2N® EasyGate IP fails to communicate with 2N® Elevator Center.
  • Use USB for login to the device.
