2N IP Intercom Settings

Requirements for 2N IP Intercom

Enable parameter RTSP Server Enabled in menu Services / Streaming.

Enable Onvif and set authorisation data in menu Services / Onvif.

If you want to use function OnvifVirtualOutputChanged you have to set automation function. This function is possible use for play user sound or next actions that are defined in automation. Settings for Genetec is in chapter Onvif Output Changed - Play user sound.

Scan Device

Open Genetec Security Desk: Click Start > All Programs > Genetec Security Center 5.1 > Security Desk. All Security Center client applications require you to provide a username, password, and the name of the Directory you want to connect to. Enter your Security Center username, password, and the server name (or IP address) of your main server. Click the Tools on the mode bar. Choose the Config Tool and this opens the Config Tool menu.

In the Config Tool menu - Tools click the Unit enrollment.

This opens dialog Unit enrollment, first click Start discovery and then click to add your device.

This opens menu for set user name and password, click to Add.

Video from 2N IP Intercom

Click the Tools on the mode bar. Choose the Monitoring and this opens the Monitoring menu.

Double-click on selected row with 2N IP Intercom. Can see live stream in one of four windows. After upgrade 2N IP Intercom firmware is important to delete Video Unit from Archiver and after that add Video Unit to Archiver. It is important for enable new modifications.

Audio from 2N IP Intercom

Open Genetec Security Desk: Click Start > All Programs > Genetec Security Center 5.1 > Security Desk. All Security Center client applications require you to provide a username, password, and the name of the Directory you want to connect to. Enter your Security Center username, password, and the server name (or IP address) of your main server. Click the Tools on the mode bar. Choose the Monitoring and this opens the Monitoring menu. indicates that audio from the camera is on. indicates that audio from the camera is off. A click on the icon turns it on or off.

Switch control

Click the Tools on the mode bar. Choose the Config Tool and this opens the Config Tool menu. In the Config Tool menu, click the Video menu. In the Archiver click your camera unit and choose Peripherals. In the menu Peripherals you can set outputs of your camera unit.

Example - output changed - play user sound. Go to menu System/General settings.

In General settings add new action.

Add next action.

Now you can hear user sound from intercom if somebody use defined button.

Events from 2N IP Intercom

In Config Tooll go to menu Alarm.

Create new Alarm and set its name.

Now you can set other settings in menu Advanced and click to Save.

Go to menu System/General settings.

And create new Action, set parameters and click to Save.

Now you can see all alarms if somebody use button of intecom. Go to menu Alarm report in Security Desk. Choose your created alarm, click to Generate report and you will see alarms.
