2N IP Intercom Settings

Requirements for 2N IP Intercom

Settings of 2N IP Intercom is very simple. You have to go to section "Services –> Onvif" and set there "Discoverable" mode as shown in the picture below. Then you have to create ONVIF account with "Administrator" access level.

Finally RTSP stream has to be enabled on 2N IP Intercom. This setting is in the section "Services –> Streaming". You have to enable RTSP server and choose codec. All these settings are shown in the picture below.

Tested Features

Video from 2N IP Intercom

Go to the web interface of the Hikvision recorder and Login as admin. Go to the configuration page.

Under System chose camera management.

Select Custom protocol

Give the custom protocol a name, and set as stream path /h264_stream.

Do the same for the second stream and press OK.

Select the line of the channel where you want to configure the 2N IP Intercom, and press Modify.

Change Plug and play into manual. Set the IP number of the 2N IP Intercom. Set the username and password of the onvif user configured in the 2N IP Intercom and press OK.

Wait one minute and refresh your page.

Note, the camera is online, (It says protocol 10 but is using the protocol 1).

Go to the live view and select the camera.
