5.7.3 Digital Input

The Digital Input folder helps you set sending SMS upon detection of a change on a 2N^® EasyGate IP input. 

• Starting Mode – select the digital input change mode that triggers SMS sending.
• Activation Time – set a time period in miliseconds during which the digital input has to be in the change mode to generate an event and send an SMS.
• Next Event Time – set a time period in seconds during which no new event is generated and no SMS is sent. A new event cannot be generated and SMS cannot be sent until this timeout passes. In this way, repeated sending of SMS informing of a change on the digital input is avoided.

The switches of the device connected to 2N^® EasyGate IP are connected using a 2-pin terminal marked INPUT.

The SMS informing of a change on the device input are sent to the event recipient's phone number.
